JADICE is a Family Heritage
My love for sewing and upcycling began at a very young age, thanks to my grandmother. She taught me how to sew herself, using both hand stitches and a sewing machine. I spent my summer holidays in her workshop developing new creations accompanied by her sound advice. She had even made her own wedding dress!
After my grandmother passed away, I retrieved one of the dresses she wore at my parents' wedding. This dress, with its magnificent fabric, was in very good condition but needed a refresh. Instead of leaving it at the back of my closet, I decided to transform it so it could accompany me in my life. After a few discussions, I upcycled this dress into a jacket/shorts set while preserving its history and giving it a new life. It was an eye-opening experience. By wearing this outfit, I felt not only a deep connection with my grandmother but also an immense sense of luck to be wearing a unique piece, laden with memories and family values.
The "Restyle" Service: Beyond the Shirt
Inspired by this personal experience, I wanted to offer others the possibility to extend the history of clothes that are dear to them. Thus, the "Restyle" service was born; initially created for the transformation of inherited shirts, it now spans various categories.
Each garment has a story to tell, and our mission is to preserve this story while modernizing it so that it can be passed down from generation to generation.
